*09/05/08 Washington Showcase: American Nobody performed in a showcase on Wednesday at the
Wenatchee Performing Arts Center in Wenatchee, Washington. The crowd of 300 was captivated by the looping process and
clapped along to the string-popping sounds of Snake River Jam. American Nobody began booking Fall college dates at the conference
and spent two days meeting with student delegates from Washington schools. Delegates also got a chance to try out
American Nobody's looper- COOL! Check back soon and expect a busy college
schedule in Washington this season!
*08/08/08 SUMMER UPDATES: American Nobody is playing a few private events in the month of August,
but the general show schedule is pretty relaxed for the month of August.
Vancouver fans can enjoy the monthly appearance at the 1220 Main Bar. Also, the annual Geek Fair is this month on August 23rd.
The what? Yes, The Geek Fair. As in, the local non-profit "Free Geek" where computers/electronics are recycled, the public is educated,
and free computers are given to volunteers. American Nobody is playing at the Geek Fair this year... at 12:30PM! They are doing a wonderful service to the city of Portland, and there needs to be
more of these organizations in EVERY city (yes, every city). To read about why, just type in "e-waste" into a search engine and
read about the waste created by our rapidly advancing computer technologies. You know that cell phone that gets replaced every year
or that home computer that gets replaced every two years and always comes with a new monitor, printer, and scanner included in the package?
Well, that old stuff has to go somewhere and Free Geek makes the most of it. For more info, visit www.freegeek.org
More video footage from the summer tour will post soon. A live album is still in the works. Engineer Frank Stearns, who mixed the
American Nobody self-titled album and owns MARS Recording in Vancouver, Washington, has recorded several shows and the project is slowly
moving forward. No projected release date as of now, but it will be a Live Loop Show Album!
*06/26/08 MIDWEST TOUR UNDERWAY: American Nobody is on the road!!! The tour is cruising along and has three remaining shows.
Midwesterners, here is your chance! And if you aren't a Midwesterner, but you know a few... let 'em know that the show is rolling through the region.

*06/15/08 MIDWEST TOUR IN ONE WEEK: American Nobody is Midwest bound on a 747! (in a few days) Hopefully the TSA
staff don't mistake the looper for an explosive device- it's pretty crazy looking with lots of wires!
There are shows in Illinois and Wisconsin... And the first ever show in A.N.'s hometown of Villa Grove, Illinois. Check the schedule, mark your calendar,
and come hear the new sounds, songs, and stories! ***Due to delays, the Live Album is unfinished and should be
available in a couple of months. Until then, get a preview of the evolving live show in person at one of the shows!

favorite called "Snake River Jam." Both songs were recorded at a show in Vancouver, Washington in February. Go check it out at Myspace! Both songs featured live looping in the outro!
*04/21/08 RUNNER-UP: American Nobody won Showcase #1 and placed runner-up overall at the 9 Muses Acoustic Pub Contest

official Midwest dates in June. Additional dates will post in coming weeks. More Northwest shows will post soon as well.

appearance on Mac/Linux systems. Also, the Archives will have contents soon. Enjoy the wealth of music now available with the Free Music Player!
There are currently 35 songs posted with more on the way!
*01/26/08 ANNIVERSARY: On January 24th, 2001, I released my first album, a little known collection of
songs called "0.5" that would classify as an EP, I suppose. So, the 7 year anniversary of that album passed last Thursday . A few hundred copies
of that album are floating around out there. More than half were burned on home computers then labeled with inkjet labels. A
couple of classics (I use that term loosely) were on that album. "Hasbyn Hymn,"; "Reason the Past,"; "Bearing South"... I had a free Geocities
website and free downloads of each song from the album back then. I was playing coffeeshops, living rooms, open mics... dreamin', not making a penny.
Two albums and several thousand miles later I'm still dreamin' and have figured out how to earn a nickel from it (no dimes or dollars). Now we've seen some music used on PBS in the
nationwide broadcast of Road Trip Nation and a few good/small tours. An adventure for all of us. Thank you all for your support over the years.
A new website is on the way... being built right now and looking good. New music is in the works as well as plans for a live recording that features the loop show.
The new website will have more music to listen to and archives of some radio performances and what not. Oh, and those PBS links I've promised will hopefully post soon.
*01/26/08 NEW VIDEO: Check out Greg Moss's home movie from Blue Sky Winery (Spring 2007 Tour) down in Southern
Illinois. It's the song "Goddess Encounter,"... a good example of the loop show processes.
*11/15/07 SINGLE OF THE DAY: the website, www.singleoftheday.com just featured American Nobody's "Beautiful Disasters" as its "Single of the Day." That's on the self-titled American Nobody album.
Click on SINGLEOFTHEDAY to go check it out and read the celebrity-infused review... see if you think that the song is about Keira (or perhaps another Johnny Depp sidekick). Post comments there too if you like.
If you want to make your own interpretation, the lyrics for that song are listed under "album extras" at american-nobody.com (look at the navigation bar to the left).
*11/15/07 RADIO SHOW POSTING: Expect a posting soon of American Nobody's appearance on Portland's beloved
indie community radio station KBOO from last Saturday. American Nobody performed South to Memphis, Appalachian Stagger, Snake River Jam, Goddess Encounter,
and Love Overrated on the air with the loop machine hooked up in the station's studio. It was a late night affair ending at nearly 2 a.m... Pacific Time of course.
*11/15/07 PBS UPDATES coming...: PBS and American Nobody have communicated, and the whole scoop on what's going on with
the Road Trip Nation series will be available very soon. There are three different series going on: 1 on PBS television (nationwide),
1 on PBS online, and 1 online at msn.com. American Nobody has one song featured in each (Love Overrated appearing in two, South to Memphis in one).
Links and air dates to those episodes will post in the next week. The premier has already happened, but the series are broadcasting at different dates
all over the country. So you probably have not missed it. All of the info will post soon at american-nobody.com.
